What it is
Every Gateway 2 requirement is specified as its own deterministic agent, mapped directly against current Building Safety regulations. Each agent guides the required checks, captures the answers and supporting evidence, and identifies anything requiring resolution. Agents can operate in parallel or through defined dependencies, building into a single, traceable, signed-off Gateway 2 record.
Why now
The Building Safety Regulator has been fully in force since April 2024. Every Higher-Risk Building — 18 metres or seven storeys and up, or a hospital, or a care home — has to clear Gateway 2 before work can proceed. There's no version of this that gets easier by waiting.
